The Live Music Tonight Network
Helping music lovers discover their local music scenes
We make it possible to discover your local music scene by showing you where the gigs are, what amazing experiences to expect, and the stories behind the most exciting artists.
We love live music, we love independent musicians and we love local music scenes. We started Live Music Tonight because of this passion, and while it started as a personal project, it quickly grew to have a bigger vision – how can we help music scene’s grow?
Think of a live music scene as a pie. Unfortunately that pie often isn’t big enough for everyone, with not enough fans to make each band and artist sustainable. Entities and company’s also take from the pie without giving back to it or growing it.
We want to make the pie bigger. We want to connect new music lovers to local music scenes and help those who are already connected to be more engaged. The more interest there is and the more people go to gigs, the more chance live music, independent musicians and live music scenes have of success.
We help reach our goal by being where our users are – online, on search and on social media – and help drive interest through content.
- We get more people to live music events with weekly event lists
- We introduce bands and artists with interviews, release roundups, playlists and more
- We grow interest in music venues and the scene with event reviews, roundups, features and more
- Since early 2016 we have proved our concept in Bangkok and are looking to expand to the region. South East Asia has some of the biggest need for music discovery in the world.
With some of the most visited tourist destinations and growth in every area of live music – with more quality acts, touring opportunities and festivals than ever – this will be the next music hot-spot.
We want to connect new music lovers to local music scenes and help those who are already connected to be more engaged. The more interest there is and the more people go to gigs, the more chance live music, independent musicians and live music scenes have of success.
How It Works
Our goal is to service as many local live music scenes as possible.
In order to do that, we knew we needed to make it as easy as possible for passionate, like-minded people to get involved. We knew we needed to take care of the complicated stuff and make it worth the time and effort put in.
That’s why we created the Live Music Tonight Network.
